Pricing questions
The important terms, before checkout exists.
These terms are the commercial release contract for the current plan structure. Checkout copy, numeric allowances, billing controls, entitlements, payment recovery, cancellation behaviour, and provider cost controls must match them before Quantaible accepts payment.
Are these prices in New Zealand dollars?
Yes. NZD is the authoritative base and billing currency. Foreign-currency displays are approximate orientation only.
Can I pay for Quantaible today?
Not yet. Paid checkout remains closed while the founding pilot validates metering, cost-to-serve, entitlements, persistence, cancellation, recovery, and provider-cost controls end to end.
Does Free include a real Persistent Investigation?
Yes. Persistent Investigations are a core Quantaible capability on every plan. Free is intended to let a user experience a genuine persistent local investigation rather than a superficial demo.
How does Student pricing work?
Verified Student pricing is NZ$15/month or NZ$150/year. Student Pro is NZ$49/month or NZ$490/year for research-intensive study. Student pricing preserves the same Q and Persistent Investigation architecture; the commercial control is student-appropriate managed and online capacity, not a lesser Q.
Is student pricing available for Team?
No separate student-discounted Team rate is part of the locked launch pricing. Team uses the standard Team price of NZ$79 per seat per month or NZ$790 per seat per year with a three-seat minimum.
Are annual plans available?
Yes. Student is NZ$150/year, Individual NZ$290/year, Student Pro NZ$490/year, Pro NZ$890/year, and Team NZ$790 per seat/year. The paid self-service annual pattern is approximately ten monthly payments.
What exactly are the usage limits?
Exact included managed AI, online acquisition, cloud storage, fair-use, routing, crawler, and add-on thresholds remain to be validated in the founding pilot. Quantaible will meter these resources precisely internally without leading the public pricing page with token quotas.
Does the size of my local investigation determine my plan?
No. A local investigation may grow substantially subject to the user's device and practical system limits. Quantaible does not upgrade a user merely because they have accumulated a large local body of evidence.
What increases with the plan?
Primarily managed Q capacity, online investigation and acquisition, cloud persistence and sync, collaboration, organisational governance, security, administration, support, and optional deployment or compute controls.
Do paid plans unlock a better Q?
No. Same Q. More capacity. Identify, Surround, Test, Connect, Consider, and Care remain the public Q actions, with Retain separate and explicit. Model routing may be optimised while preserving one canonical Q experience.
What happens if one investigation needs unusually large managed resources?
The preferred direction is not to force a permanent tier upgrade for one unusually large investigation. Where supported, the user should be able to continue locally, supply approved compute, or purchase additional Quantaible-managed capacity.
Does choosing a provider enable web search?
No. Compute choice and source permission remain separate. Online expansion is user-authorised; choosing Quantaible Managed, customer-provided compute, or local compute never silently authorises web retrieval.
Why is Organisation priced differently?
Organisation starts at NZ$2,500/month and remains custom because institutional cost can include onboarding, support, security, identity, data residency, private networking, retention, audit, SLA, deployment, storage, and customer-specific compute requirements.
